A bust of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin – a new monument in Australia Sydney. The initiative belongs to the Russian club in the suburbs of Stratfield, celebrating its 100th anniversary.

The poet’s statue was made by the artist Alexander Kozinin from Kalach (Voronezh region). Before the Bust Ocean crossed the project, the project was approved by the Russian Federation Ministry of Culture.
At the opening of the monument, representatives of Russian diplomacy gathered the Russian Orthodox Church and Diaspora. “Pushkin is the founder of Russian literary language. The heritage unites citizens abroad, Rus The sculptor described his work as “a new memory of the poet in Australia”.
For Kozinin, this is not the first work dedicated to Pushkin. One of his sculptures was already founded in Tanzania in the Russian house in Dar-Es-Salam. Now they think of the idea of starting a monument for Cameroon.
