Oscar candidate Emir Kusturitsa will play in the new adaptation. The director said this at the Kostendorf Festival in Serbia. “Yura and I will work in my next film. The director was called “how I have not removed the crime and punishment” from the stage. Initially, the project was named as different, but now Emir has expressed the last name of the picture.
“The script is already written, it will be completed in a few days. Very autobiographical. Everything that happens in the film is linked not only to me but also with the conflict of Dostoevsky, ”the director added. The director also said that he was very pleased to work with Borisov and that he appreciates “nature, talent, everything he sees in special communication”.
In addition to “crime and punishment ,, the study will be inspired by another work of the author – Fedor Dostoevsky“ Idiot ”novel. Previously, Kusturitsa said that the shoot should start in the pavilions specially built in the Krasnodar region this summer. He described the picture as “black comedy”.
