Jacob Elordi could replace Paul Mescal in Ridley Scott’s new post-apocalyptic thriller The Dog Stars. Variety reports this.
It is known that Jacob is currently in talks about the shooting process. As the publication explained, Mescal turned down the role due to Sam Mendes filming on another project called The Beatles anthology.
Scott’s upcoming film is based on Peter Heller’s 2012 novel. According to the story, in a future world, most of the population is wiped out due to a deadly flu virus epidemic.
Previously, Paul Mescal talked about filming the third part of Gladiator. The artist admitted that he would gladly take up the sword and wear sandals again in the third part of the film: “I think if Gladiator 3 comes out, I will be in it.”
