We all look forward to the holidays, but there are things that can overshadow even New Year’s Eve. Russians said that the thing that bothered them the most was December 31.

One in five people surveyed (22%) are stressed by endless fireworks and firecrackers. Another 9% complained about the monotony of TV shows, and 8% complained about too many drunk people, job search service SuperJob reported.
Only 3% are stressed by the desire to celebrate the New Year in general, and 2% are stressed by lack of sleep and feasting, which leads to overeating. The other 1% suffer from loneliness.
Russians list the congestion of telephone networks, high taxi prices, lack of snow or bad weather, uninvited guests, preparation fatigue, bad mood and rush as other reasons that cause discomfort on New Year’s Eve. At the same time, 31% of respondents are not bothered by anything – the lucky ones.
