Sean Baker’s Anora topped the nominations at the 45th London Critics’ Circle Film Awards. Deadline writes that the film was submitted in six categories at once.

Additionally, Yura Borisov, who played the taciturn Gopnik from Brighton Beach in the film, was also nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category. In addition to him, the coveted statuette can be received by Guy Pearce for the movie “Brutalist”, by Denzel Washington thanks to “Gladiator 2” and others.
Besides Anora, other favorites were Brady Corbet’s Brutalist, Edward Berger’s Conclave, and Coralie Fargit’s Substance. The first film on the list has seven nominations, while the other two have six nominations.
Let us remind you that the film has already been nominated for many prestigious awards. Additionally, Anora became the leader in the number of awards it received this season.
