Bridge Film Festival has become one of the important events of 2024. The event, held at the Tavrida art cluster in Crimea between 13-15 December, brought together over 200 young filmmakers from 36 regions. We tell you why this place is special and why the festival prize is unforgettable.
Access up to 50 new film projects
The Bridge Film Festival first started in 2024, but has already attracted the attention of leading names in the film industry and ordinary residents of the country. Both celebrities and those new to cinema gathered on the Black Sea coast. The film festival program was quite busy and many projects were shown to guests before the official premiere. The opening film was “Kuzya the Brownie” (its premiere will take place on December 19), and the screenings were closed with the tale “The Finist”. The Last Hero” (scheduled to premiere on January 1, 2025).
We have previously talked in detail about the best feature films, documentary projects and first-run films, as well as the winners of the 2024 Bridge Film Festival.
Gain skills in masterclasses and lessons

Film screenings content studio “Yug. Cinema”, where pavilions of the future were built for filming, all educational events were held in the Meganom Academy of Creative Industries (if you look at the map), a complex consisting of buildings A, B and C. All of them are located close to each other on the territory of the Tavrida art cluster. We recently compiled a mini guide to the film city of the future, which you can find here.
Each building was hosting different events at the same time, so we had to prioritize to choose the most interesting ones. For example, lessons on Korean make-up, popular among artists of K-pop groups, as well as special effects and prosthetic make-up for horror movies, looked fascinating. Many guests attended the master classes on acting and screenwriting. Bloggers gathered at VK lectures, where experts talked about the creative mechanics of creating content with a minimal budget. Movie fans gathered for movie quizzes by guessing stills from the movies. It was also possible to learn how to create an information product in various formats, from reality shows to documentaries. Those interested can attend psychology classes to learn life hacks for effective personal presentation.
Participate in fun giveaways

Festival organizers tried to make the event as interactive as possible. It’s one thing to sit in a movie theater and listen to lectures, but it’s another thing to engage in dialogue with experts, directors and actors. For active participation in master classes and project discussions, guests were given vouchers, which could later be exchanged for nice prizes in the information center. For the sake of such bonuses, many viewers had to overcome their shyness and contact filmmakers and experts directly through the microphone. This both enlivened the atmosphere of the film festival and changed the flow of the discussion. For example, during an argument at the screening of a documentary about phone scammers, one of the participants was promised a free subscription to an online cinema, where he could ask interesting questions.
touch the stars

Representatives of the film industry and show business gathered at the Most Film Festival, so in addition to intellectual conversations, guests also received emotions from music concerts and dance performances. Among them is the finalist of “The Voice”. Children” and young faces of Russian cinema such as singer Akmal’, rapper ST, “Univer” star Stas Yarushin, Lesha Svik, “Kadestvo” star Aristarkh Venes, Natalya Bondarchuk and Kristina Stroiteleva (Zlata from the upcoming movie “Finist). The first hero”), Fyodor Roshchin (“Ilya from the series Peace! Friendship! Chewing Gum!”) and others. Head of the Tavrida art cluster Ksenia Artemyeva told the festival guests a lot of interesting and inspiring information, for example, about future plans for the development of film processes in the southern regions.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the film festival were especially memorable: between the speeches of the speakers and the awards ceremony of the participants, it was possible to enjoy musical performances and dances against the miniature backdrop of the same Crimean Bridge connecting the stage and the auditorium. .
