Nicole Kidman and husband plan to return to Australia after ‘worst year of their lives’

Nicole Kidman, 57, and her husband Keith Urban are considering returning to their native Australia after a difficult year in the United States. The actor suffered a personal tragedy following the death of his mother Janelle in September and was forced to return to Sydney for her funeral. During this very difficult time, the star had a very busy travel schedule around America dedicated to promoting his latest films and filming his next project.

Those close to her are reportedly concerned Nicole is suffering from “burnout” and the Big Little Lies star and Keith are now considering returning to Australia. “Nicole and Keith have had the worst year of their lives, spending almost no time together and she’s been left on her own at the worst of times,” a source told Woman’s Day.

Country singer Keith Urban is reportedly considering stopping touring to support his wife after her Las Vegas residency ends in February.

Let’s remember that Nicole Kidman’s mother died at the age of 84; just a few hours before the artist received the best actress award for her performance in the movie “Baby” at the Venice Film Festival. Nicole was supported by her husband and two daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Nicole and Keith own a sprawling 20-room mansion in Nashville, a home in Beverly Hills, and a designer duplex in Chelsea, New York. They also still have properties in Australia, including a farmhouse in the Southern Highlands and two penthouses they rent in Milsons Point, Sydney.
