Sean “Diddy” Combs objected to the screening of a documentary about the 1999 incident. In the film, his former protégé said the rapper blamed it on himself.
Sources say Diddy has no intention of blocking the movie, but has called for the show to be suspended and a thorough review of Jamal Burrow Shine’s claims that the rapper took the blame and was sentenced to prison.
“Mr. Combs categorically denies allegations and suggestions that he placed blame on Mr. Barrow or directed witnesses to testify against him. These statements are clearly false. “Mr. Combs was acquitted of all charges related to the 1999 incident,” he said.
Let’s remember, 25 years ago, P. Diddy and Jennifer Lopez found themselves at the epicenter of a major scandal when three people were injured in a shooting at a nightclub. Possibly after an argument, Diddy began shooting and then quickly left the establishment with the singer. He was detained with a gun, but the musician was acquitted. In a recently released documentary, Jamal Barrow Shine revealed that his star idol took the blame and was sentenced to prison.
P Diddy himself is still detained. The musician is accused of human trafficking for the purpose of blackmail and sex exploitation. The celebrity is trying to change the restrictive measure and demands to be placed under house arrest once again.
