Actor Armie Hammer, who was previously canceled due to allegations of harassment, rape and threats, announced that he had vasectomy surgery as a gift from his mother on his birthday this year. The 38-year-old artist sat down with her on her podcast, and she explained why this was the right surprise for her son.
“I called the Army and said, ‘What would you like for your birthday this year?’ I ask. He said: “I don’t know, maybe anything.” I said, ‘I think I’m going to give you a vasectomy,'” Drew Hammer said on the podcast.
Army later shared: “I go to the doctor and say, ‘I’m here to make an appointment for a vasectomy.’ “Are you sure you want to do this?” he asked. “I have two beautiful children. I don’t want any more children. I’m ready.” They’re trying to talk you out of it. And I said, ‘You can’t talk me out of this. I’m done. I am good””.
In 2021, the actor was accused of cannibalism and sexual assault by several people online. He has not been formally charged in court, and he and his family continue to deny all the accusations: “I keep saying, ‘My son hasn’t committed any crime.’ If he had made the slightest mistake of accusing himself of rape, he would have been trapped by now.”
In October, it became known that Armie Hammer had landed his first movie role after the scandal. The actor will star in the western film “Frontier Trial” from “Bone Tomahawk” producer Dallas Sonnier.
