Ryan Reynolds has no plans to leave Hugh Jackman, neither in life nor on the big screen. He is already working on a new movie in which they will star together.
The Deadpool star said he has started writing the script for the next movie. Variety writes that it won’t be connected to the Marvel universe.
“I’m writing a movie for myself, Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy, but I’m not writing for Marvel,” the actor is quoted as saying in the publication. Reynolds plans to devote the next year to the upcoming film. The actor does not reveal any details. It is also unknown whether Reynolds will create a completely original project or receive the support of a film studio.
Reynolds started talking about this project in the summer. Soon after, Deadpool and Wolverine turned out to be a hit. “We have a project that we want to implement in the near future. I would say our relationship is like any successful relationship. We support each other. Hugh is a man worth more than just providing support. “He’s someone you can’t help but root for,” Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly at the time.
