“Technically that’s my little girl’s name! This is little Ari’s name. I feel like this experience was a homecoming for me. I feel like I have come to my senses in many ways thanks to what I learned from Glinda and Elphaba. Note ed.),” Ariana said in a radio interview with Hit 104.7.

He added: “That was my name when I went to the same show when I was 10. I thought it was a really nice way to honor that. It was like a vicious circle. It was just something I wanted to do.”

The plot of the musical tells about the events that took place before the events in Lyman Baum’s book “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. It’s a story about growing up and the rivalry between two dissimilar magical students: a green-skinned outcast girl and her beautiful rival for her lover’s heart. Also, the future film, like the musical performance, touches on the theme of the wizard’s cruelty, which turns the inhabitants of Oz against Elphaba.

The musical “Wicked” will premiere on November 22, 2024.
