West’s neighbors think he’s decided to move forward with Ye’s long-standing plan for DROAM, a self-sustaining city that Ye once planned to build in the Middle East but now appears to be heading toward Beverly Hills. Such thoughts arose after the rapper posted on Stories a random plan of the city outlined in a photo of the new site.
Although Kanye hasn’t directly stated his intentions, his neighbors in the North Beverly Park gated community made it clear to reporters that this wouldn’t happen in their backyard. The outlet reports that a complex homeowners association exists in the area, so it’s unlikely anyone would vote for the rapper to build Droam in the area. There’s also not much space left for construction, so you’d have to spend a large amount of money to cover enough space to build a hypothetical city.
