Mulaney made an emotional speech while presenting the award to 44-year-old Olivia at the event held at a private residence in Los Angeles. In 2023, Mann was honored with the Women of Influence Award for her advocacy and commitment to transforming women’s health after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
In his speech, John talked about what he learned from Olivia: “We learned a lot from this experience. We learned that he would need five surgeries. We learned that there is a risk of lymphedema. “We learned that if we hadn’t caught it in time, things could have been much worse.”
This year, the actor shared his story to help everyone he could. According to the National Cancer Institute, the number of women receiving breast cancer risk assessments increased by 4,000% in the week after Olivia Munn shared her cancer story. “Olivia saves lives by telling the truth,” the artist’s husband said.
