“Getting ready to fight gravity,” the skater wrote. Followers supported Roman. “Amazing. How much pain, effort and labor went into getting on the ice. Our love, our era, our admiration”, “How much strength you have! I tirelessly admire you! Health and prosperity! – the athlete’s fans commented.

Let us remind you that Kostomarov has now learned to live with prosthetics. Earlier, the skater demonstrated an intense training.

Last year, Roman was hospitalized with a cold that turned into a serious illness. The athlete developed necrosis of the limbs. As a result, doctors decided to amputate the tibias of both Kostomarov’s legs, the fingers on one hand, and the fingers on the other.
