It looks like Anthony Hopkins won’t be retiring. The actor will play the lead role in the movie about the Maserati brothers, the family behind the production of legendary cars. According to Variety, the name of the movie is “Maserati: Brothers”.
The actor will play an Italian investor who finances the Maserati brothers. Robert Moresco will direct the film. The film will be produced by Andrea Iervolino. He previously produced another Moresco film: “Lamborghini: The Legend Man” (2022). Iervolino was also one of the producers of Michael Mann’s movie Ferrari, starring Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz.
It is reported that the shooting of the biopic will start very soon in Bologna. Other details about the movie have not been announced yet.
