The belongings of legendary basketball player Michael Jordan will be auctioned at Sotheby’s auction house. Interfax reports this, citing Barron’s.

It was stated that the athlete’s famous red jersey will be auctioned. He wore this jersey during the 1996-1997 NBA season and then competed in this jersey for five months. They plan to make $4 to $6 million from this. Also up for auction are two of the basketball player’s lesser-known jerseys: one he wore in the Chicago Bulls’ home games in 1988-1989, and the other in the 1998 play-offs.

Let us also remind you that this is not the first time that the basketball player’s personal belongings have been put up for auction. A few years ago Nike Air Jordan 1 sneakers cost 560 thousand dollars (39 million rubles – Note ed.).
