According to Bolgar, he would be prepared to continue financial support only if they moved to the UAE together, but Bolgar did not accept these terms.
“I acted in the best interests of my children by ensuring their safety and protecting their rights. I realized that mothers’ rights in the UAE are not equal to women’s rights in Europe. If I had agreed to move to Dubai, I would have remained silent for years,” Irina said, adding that she chose to protect her dignity by showing her children that freedom is not for sale.
According to Irina, she filed two lawsuits against Pavel for deprivation of parental rights and non-payment of alimony.
