One of Netflix’s most popular animated series is returning to screens. Fans have been waiting for Arcane Season 2 for nearly three years, but the streaming platform’s producers are only now beginning to tease the return of V and her friends.
Work on the second season of the big-budget animated series has been dragging on for three long years, and some fans are already worried that the show will hit streaming in 2024. Luckily for League of Legends fans, that’s not the case at all.
Netflix representatives have officially confirmed that Arcane will return in November. Granted, you shouldn’t expect all episodes of the second season to drop on the same day.
We’ve found you a release schedule for the episodes, which will be divided into three acts.
- Act 1 – November 2
- Act 2 – November 16
- Act 3 – November 23
The showrunners of Arcane decided not to explain how many episodes there will be in each act, but fans are sure that the second season will consist of 9 episodes.
They are of course not very happy that Netflix has decided to split the seasons into three parts. There are good reasons for this, however: the second season of Arcane will be the last of the series. The producers simply want to give viewers the chance to spend some more time with V.
Despite Arcane’s closure, Netflix and Riot Games’ partnership isn’t ending; the producers have already announced that new series starring other LoL heroes will be coming to the streaming service soon.
