Streaming service Max has canceled spinoff series “Pretty Little Liars” after its second season, Variety reports.

“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” received two seasons, with the last one airing in June 2024. The project was produced by Chilling Adventures of Sabrina creators Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Lindsay Calhoun Bring, and Lisa Soper.
“Their unique and modern vision, combined with the unwavering talent of our team, has given the series a fun, horror-filled perspective that pays homage to its original Rosewood roots,” the streaming service said of the creators’ work.

Seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars aired on ABC Family from 2010 to 2017. The series had a spin-off called Ravenswood, which followed the adventures of some of the main series characters in a nearby town.
Following the completion of the main project, Freeform launched another side project called “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists,” which told the story of the future lives of two characters from the series who meet on a college campus where a mysterious murder of a professor takes place.
