Mark Wahlberg shared a funny incident from the set where his mother Alma decided that George Clooney was hitting on her.
Wahlberg’s mother visited her son on the set of the movie “The Perfect Storm,” which was released in 2000. Of course, she was very happy to meet Clooney, who was already a worldwide heartthrob.

Later, the woman proudly told Mark that George really liked her and that Clooney had asked her out, but Alma was insistent and declined. Wahlberg expressed doubts about the truth of the story, but Alma was unwaveringly convinced that he was right.
“My mom came to the set, met George, and even bought a picture of him to hang on her wall. And I said, ‘Okay, come on! I want a little brother. George can be my stepdad. That’s great!'” the actor said in an interview with Variety.

Until recently, Alma was sure that George Clooney paid special attention to her. He passed away in 2021. The woman developed complications due to dementia. Mark Wahlberg, who did not leave her off the set after the death of his mother, published a photo of her and simply captioned it “My Angel”.
