Jude Law is ready to conquer new movie worlds! He’s feeling cramped in the Marvel universe and the Harry Potter world. It’s time to travel to a galaxy far, far away.
The star of “The Young Pope” will play a Jedi from the “Star Wars” universe in the series. Lucasfilm studio unveiled the first footage at a screening in Anaheim. Star Wars: The Backbone is described as a coming-of-age adventure story. Under the tutelage of the hero Lowe, four young characters become lost in the vastness of the galaxy and try to find their way home on their perilous journey.
“We had a great time making this series. Sometimes it’s funny situations between kids and adults. Other times it’s a really dark and scary story. I think that’s how 11-year-olds see the world,” Jude Law told Entertainment Weekly.
Star Wars: Backbone will be released on December 3, 2024. There will be eight episodes.
