Blade series star Wesley Snipes has returned to his superhero role in Deadpool and Wolverine after a long hiatus. After the release of the film, the actor managed to break two Guinness World Records at the same time, Variety reports.
With his return to the role of Blade, Snipes officially has the longest-running career as a Marvel character, breaking the record held by actor Hugh Jackman, who first portrayed Wolverine in X-Men (2000).
The last superhero movie starring Wesley Snipes, Blade 3: Trinity, was released in 2004, taking a 20-year hiatus from acting. This allowed him to break the record for the longest gap between appearances as a Marvel hero.
