The planet is called Gliese 12 b, it has a moderate temperature that cannot be said for most other planets, and most importantly, its size is comparable to Earth. True, it is still outside the solar system, about 40 light-years from Earth.
The atmosphere of this planet contains all the necessary components for biological activity – oxygen, water, methane and carbon dioxide. Scientists suspect that Gliese 12 b even has water on its surface, as it is located in the habitable zone of its star.
By the way, the planet is located in the Milky Way and orbits a red dwarf.
