Eddie Redmayne is returning to the Harry Potter universe as he stars as Newt Scamander in the big-themed attraction.
Universal Epic Universe will launch a cult fantasy-themed site in 2025. A source confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the attraction will feature both long-shot scenes starring Eddie Redmayne and brand new scenes that will directly connect the Harry Potter story to Fantastic Beasts.
The park plans to recreate a magical world where the heroes of the series will walk the streets, and theatrical performances will be complemented by the feature film “Harry Potter and the Battle in the Ministry.” It will be filmed specifically for the attraction.
According to the scenario, guests will travel from Paris to the British Ministry of Magic for the trial of Dolores Umbridge. The criminal tries to escape. The riders who follow Umbridge are accompanied by Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and a house elf named Higgledy. It is not yet known whether other franchise actors will appear in the film.
