She told how she received an offer from the director to act and how much money she was paid for participating in the film.
“Balabanov called me and said that he wanted me to star in his film. He sent me the script and his other films so that I could get acquainted with his work. When we came to Moscow and met, I realized that he was a great guy. I named the amount – quite a lot at that time. I asked for three thousand dollars a day, and in my opinion there were seven shooting days – I don’t remember exactly,” Irina Saltykova shared.
