The III International Film Festival of First Films of the Eurasian Continent “Sixth” announced that the opening film will be the crime tragicomedy “Break Head” directed by Evgeny Grigoriev.

In the film, the star of “Hotel Eleon” Yegor Koreshkov appears in the image of a talented but modest teacher of ancient literature Andrei. By chance he witnesses a bank robbery and later becomes a suspect in this case. But the events, in addition to problems, also lead to his acquaintance with the ruthless head of the bank’s security service, Sergei, whose role is played by Vladimir Bitokov. Together they will have to find out who is really guilty and what can be done.
By the way, a little about the creation of the picture. The shooting took place in Yekaterinburg. In the crowd scenes, real city dwellers also took part: vendors, taxi drivers and passers-by. Viewers should expect Nadezhda Mikhalkova, Pavel Derevianko and Roma Zverya to take part in the leading roles. By the way, the latter not only wrote the music for the film, but also played the role of the owner of the cafe on the set.




The film festival will be held in Yekaterinburg from August 2 to 7, 2024, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Sverdlovsk region. The film will soon be released in Russian cinemas and in the KION online cinema.
