“I don’t know if I’m brave or reckless,” Claude has visited about forty countries alone

Claude Monthe travels alone around the world. He has visited 57 countries on every continent except Antarctica. On his Instagram account he documents his travels, tells anecdotes and encourages people to take the plunge. His first solo trip wasn’t really planned.. “I was on holiday with my best friend. We were supposed to leave Ibiza for Berlin and we missed the flight. We had to pay for the missed flight. And so there I was, choosing between going back with her or going alone. »

But Claude really wants to discover Berlin, so she decides to go alone. And so, it’s a revelation for her. “The freedom, the fact of being alone in front of yourself, I liked it a lot. I became addicted to it,” he tells us. Being alone has never been an obstacle to activities, he explains.

His favorite destinations?

Brazil, South Africa, Jamaica. “When you love music and dance like I do, these are really the countries you absolutely have to go to.” In terms of culture, Claude fell in love with Japan. And in terms of nature, it was undoubtedly Iceland that amazed her. Today she wants to go to countries where no one goes. Has she ever been afraid somewhere?
