The controversy surrounding the death of “Charmed” star Shannen Doherty continues unabated. The actress’ doctor, Lawrence Piro, revealed similarities in her health shortly before the tragedy. It seems the celebrity was not going to give up and was willing to do anything to recover.
The artist was battling stage four breast cancer. “She did not want to think about any other solution than coping with the disease and prolonging her life,” the doctor said.
Piro added that Shannen is enjoying every day. “The last time we spoke, she was in the process of realizing that things were getting pretty serious. The conversation was about love, support, caring, and the ongoing struggle,” the doctor explained. According to him, the actress wanted to continue with treatment, even though her condition had gotten a little worse.
The doctor saw Doherty “disappearing before his eyes” but did not want to give her hope. As Piro noted, he did not abandon the actress in a difficult moment. “Shannen was an incredible fighter in everything she did,” Piro summarized in an interview with People.
