Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone lost her fortune after suffering a stroke, claiming her attackers took advantage of her weakness.
Sharon was unconscious for nine days after suffering a brain hemorrhage in 2001. Rehabilitation lasted seven long years. During this time, $18 million (more than 1.5 billion rubles) that had accumulated from her accounts disappeared.
“I made $18 million from my success, but when I checked my bank account, it was all gone. ‘My refrigerator, my phone, everything belonged to other people,’” Stone told the Hollywood Reporter.
Sharon Stone hasn’t dwelled on what happened. She claims that her belief in the best has helped her survive and recover. The actress recently spoke about the consequences of popularity.
