The model wrote on her page that her Chihuahua Nala died due to the negligence of a groomer. Before visiting the dog groomer, Nikola’s pet was examined by a veterinarian. The animal was absolutely healthy, but after the beauty treatments, the dog began to choke and died.
“I am heartbroken. I am tirelessly investigating the situation to find out exactly what happened in the carer’s van. I am doing everything I can to get to the bottom of the truth,” Nicola wrote.
According to TMZ’s sources, veterinary records show that the dog had fluid in his lungs, neurological issues and a rapid heartbeat before he died. The exact cause of these issues is unknown. There are no CCTV cameras in the keeper’s van and it is not known what happened there. Longtime animal activist Nicola Peltz insists she is not suing for money. She wants to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
