The 47-year-old singer is raising her two sons alone: nine-year-old Sasha and eleven-year-old Milan. The star is sure that it is important to establish a balance in life where children always come first.
“They saw how their mother cried, how she rejoiced, how she laughed and worked tirelessly. I want to tell them that life is not like in the movies. This is where you have to deal with disappointment. It’s natural,” Shakira said in an interview with The Rolling Stone.
Shakira has previously stated that her sons hate the movie “Barbie.” According to the star, a woman has the right to do what she really wants, but that doesn’t mean she should do it.
