Cannes 2022: The winners of the film festival and the most striking images from the closing ceremony

The 75th Cannes Film Festival has ended in France. The Palme d’Or, the main prize of the competition, was awarded by the jury to Swedish director Ruben Östlund’s satirical film “Triangle of Sorrow”. The Grand Prix was split between “Stars at Noon” by Claire Denis and “Close” by Lucas Dont. The best director award went to South Korean director Park Chan-wook (“The Decision to Leave”). Zara Amir-Ebrahimi (The Sacred Spider) for Best Actress and Best Actor – Song Kang-ho (“Tool”). The Best Screenplay award went to Tariq Saleh (“The Boy from Heaven”). The film “Tchaikovsky’s Wife” by Kirill Serebrennikov went without a prize.
