Brioche is one of the best human inventions, along with the epidural. But hey, it’s not really the same topic. To return to the snack, if you want to show off a little by saying “yes yes, I made it” while talking about a succulent brioche with chocolate chips, I have just the thing for you!
The recipe for brioche with chocolate chips, without robots
To make this delicious recipe you will need:
- 400 g of flour
- 2 sachets of yeast
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- A few vanilla bean seeds (or liquid extract is fine too)
- 300 ml of warm milk
- 50 g of melted butter (preferably semi-salted)
- 1 whole egg
- about 100 g of chocolate chips
First preheat the oven to 80°C. Then, in a salad bowl, mix the flour, yeast, sugar and vanilla. Make a small well and add the egg and melted butter. Add the warm milk little by little, mixing gently, not abruptly, with a wooden spoon. Finally, when the dough is smooth, add the chocolate chips and in an instant you can pour the dough (without panicking if it’s sticky, it’s normal), into a buttered mold. Place in the oven for 20 minutes at 80°C, then 30 minutes at 200°C.
And now it’s ready!
