The new trailer for him transforms the grid into a horror show: rituals, blood and football

Universal Pictures has just dropped a new chilling trailer for his next horror sport film Him And it is clear that this is not the typical loser football story. If you thought the training field was brutal before, wait to see how Him It transforms it into a twisted initiation full of blood, granny and ritual horror that bends the mind.

Set to a disturbing remix of Tupac’s “Ave Mary”, the trailer establishes a surreal and violent ride in which the locker room becomes more cult of the team.

Directed by Justin who overturns and produced by Jordan Peele, Him stars Cameron falls Like Tyriq Withers, a football star that is highlighted that tries to survive the frenzy of the media and the expectations that derives from his new fame.

But things quickly turn into something much darkest. Withers is led by a veteran who ages, Isaiah White, played by Marlon WayansWhich seems more interested in breaking it than building it.

What begins when a standard training field quickly becomes twisted. At a certain point, White has a stop of a player while a passing machine explodes football in the face until he bleeds.

Withers observe incredulous and finally asks: “What the hell are you doing?” But white doubles with a cold response: “In this game, violence is rewarded. So learn to enjoy it.”

The trailer then descends into a dream of fever of fast cuts, rituals of chaotic grannies, cryptic symbols and drying that escape control. After being broken and sewn together, he calls his mother in despair.

We already knew from the first trailer that Withers’ dream is threatened when it is attacked by a fan and suffers from serious cerebral trauma. But this new movie leans stronger for surreal horror, suggesting that something much darkest is feeding the toxic culture of this sport.

Him also stars Julia Fox, Tim HeideckerAND Akeem Hayesadding even more talent to this disturbing story. And, of course, it is produced by Monkeyypow Productions, which has had the diabolical genius to release the trailer just as the football season recovers.

Don’t expect the NFL to connect this movie at any time. Him He strikes cinemas on September 19th and promises to be a terrifying journey into the violent soul of sports culture.
