Summer camps are so beautiful. But it can also represent a big budget for parents. Thanks to this new system, which will be implemented this summer, perhaps you can reduce your bill a little and send your children to summer camp.
The color pass, to reduce your holiday budget
Available only for children who turn 11 in 2024, the colo pass, whose aid can reach up to 350 euros, is accessible to families whose family quotient is less than or equal to 1,500 euros.
The color pass is available in four installments:
- For a family quotient between 1,201 and 1,500 euros the aid is 200 euros
- For a family quotient between 701 and 1,200 euros the aid is 250 euros
- For a family quotient between 201 and 700 euros the aid is 300 euros
- For a family quotient of up to 200 euros the aid is 350 euros
Colopass: how to benefit from it?
If you send your child to camp this summer, you do not need to take any action. You will simply receive an email or letter explaining that you can benefit from it. You can then estimate the amount of aid and remaining expenses on the website www.jeunes.gouv.fr/passcolo.
Please note, the help will not be paid to you directly, but will be automatically sent to the organizer of the stay, a bit like paying a third party. The organizer will inform you of the rest you will have to pay, once the colo pass has been deducted from the final amount.
Finally, please note that this aid can be combined with other holiday aid and that it only concerns campsites during school holidays and only for children’s stays.
