Popular rock band Linkin Park is ready to go on tour for the first time since the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington. There is information that he will be replaced by a vocalist.
The band has been on hiatus since 2017, when their lead singer’s life was tragically interrupted. Billboard reports that the first concerts could take place as early as 2025. The musicians are still mum about who will replace Chester, but the publication’s source said they are looking for a vocalist.
Amy Lee, leader of the band Evanescence, was expected to replace Bennington, but she rejected this assumption. “That’s an incredible compliment. I’ve never heard of that. No, I haven’t been contacted or anything like that. But I’m a huge fan, I feel like our worlds, our fan bases, are the same people,” Amy said in an interview with iHeartRadio Canada.
Linkin Park recently released a video for an unreleased song featuring Chester Bennington. Let us remind you that the death of the group’s lead singer became known on July 20, 2017.
