In the spring, an obsessive thought often appears in the head to start everything from scratch. I agree, because during this period the whole image changes, wardrobe updates and the search for new hobbies occur. By the way, I would like to talk about the latter in more detail.
It’s not that easy to surprise people these days. Sports, cinema and theater have gone beyond trends, turning into immortal classics. So The Fashion Vibes editors looking for new hobbies discovered wine tasting. And let’s be honest, I was not left indifferent.

First of all, let’s find out what tastings are? In fact, these are independent events run by professional cavistas, where they talk about wine production, the largest wineries, interesting details, the right glasses and the combination of drinks with gastronomy. And of course this is communication and new experience. Imagine how many interesting things you will learn from a cave expert in one evening.
Our choice fell on the SimpleWine wine library with a separate tasting room on Mosfilmovskaya. The tasting took place in a friendly atmosphere with light snacks and the interesting story of the caver. We were so engrossed in the topic that we didn’t notice how almost two hours passed. An excellent life tip; the space itself can be suitable for celebrating any event. For example, a birthday or a mini corporate party.

This is also a great networking opportunity that we didn’t even know about. All tastings take place in a friendly atmosphere and include both beginners and experienced tasters. And if you are worried that such an activity may seem boring, we are ready to convince you. There is no dry theory. For example, the presenter of the tasting we attended came up with several formats at once that could liberate all participants a little and help even the most introverted people feel comfortable. We were presented with unusual tasting scenarios that implied a game format similar to a wine quest. We were shown what the color of a wine can tell about the drink itself, how to taste wines correctly, and we also tried to guess what flavor tones each tasted sample is filled with: apple or pear, flower or honey, boletus or field herbs.
Tastings are held simultaneously in many cities of Russia – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Tyumen, Yekaterinburg and Samara. And if yours isn’t among those listed, don’t worry. You can check if similar events are being held in your city. If not, offline tasting may be one of the reasons to visit the above Russian cities.
