Special: Leslie Mann and Tim Robbins leave Amazon Studios’ global thriller drama series Ძალა. Both roles will be redone.
Adapted from the feminist science fiction book by Naomi Alderman, her sister and director Reed Morano’s 10-episode series was one of many series affected by the pandemic. Manny took over the role of Margo Claire-Lopez in October 2019. Rain Wilson took on the role of Daniel Dandon in February 2020, when production for the series began. Due to the epidemic, all Hollywood production was halted in mid-March.
Covid delayed filming for months and Wilson was rendered unusable. He eventually left the project and was given the role of Dendon by Robbins in January 2021, when the role was upgraded from a regular series back to a guest star. (This will continue to be the case during the remake.) A year and a half later, the series is back in production. Manny and Robbins are now breaking up, their scenes are being filmed.
