LR senators have presented a bill aimed at banning any of them “hormonal or surgical transition before the age of 18”. They repel them further “proposals that ignore the experiences of our families and manipulate scientific research” go against “the values of the Republic” (which however condemn transphobia) by introducing discrimination against trans children.
The signatories instead propose a series of counter-recommendations, in the fields of education, health or even public policies, to truly listen and support “at their own pace and whatever their journey” trans children and guarantee“let them live happily and peacefully according to their gender self-determination”.
A bill that reduces transience to mental illness
