And if you watched at least one of these films, you can be sure that the famous singer had a huge influence on fashion. She was a true style icon in the 1950s; some tried to reproduce his signature hairstyle (the same “cock”), others were desperately looking for jackets with voluminous shoulders, and others first noticed the pink color.

All of the above wardrobe items were immediately worn by young people.
