In an attempt to refute Rebel Wilson’s statements, actor Sacha Baron Cohen gave a journalist a video from the filming of The Brothers Grimsby movie. The 44-year-old actress accused him of harassment.
Rebel claims Cohen literally forced her to perform in an inappropriate scene. But in a video the actor submitted in 2016, they discuss the details of the shooting in detail, and Rebel raises no objections.
The actor claims that the video has been edited. He protests its release and accuses the film company of disclosing personal information.
“It couldn’t have happened for this movie because director Louis Leterrier wasn’t even on set. This edited video shows what I had to do to get out of the room,” Rebel was quoted as saying by TMZ.
In her memoir, Rebel described Cohen’s accounts of the harassment she suffered on set. Thereupon, the actor’s wife Isla Fisher, with whom he has lived for 14 years, filed for divorce.
