
The sequel to the favorite comedy of the youth of the 2000s will come 20 years later. The creators of Freaky Friday have announced that they will be making a sequel.
The comedy stars Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. According to the plot of the first movie, they are a mother and daughter who accidentally switch bodies. Both actors confirmed their participation in the sequel in an interview with NewYorker dedicated to the film’s anniversary.
“As we traveled around the world, people wanted to know if there would be another Mad Friday. Something really sparked interest,” recalls Curtis. “Jamie and I are open to it. “We will only do things that people will love,” Lindsay added.
The decision was made last year, but filming was postponed due to the writers’ strike. Work resumed in April this year. It is known that the script is ready. This time, the heroes of Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis will swap bodies with young girls.
