Today in Moscow the premiere of the ballet “Russian Ragtime” took place. The new project managed to combine theatrical art and fashion trends of the 20-30s.
The story focuses on a fashion show held by a famous fashion designer, and the audience witnesses the machinations behind the scenes. By the way, the costumes were created by non-theatrical designer Alena Akhmadullina. He spoke in detail about the clothes initially created. For example, it turned out that some images were created at the last minute due to the unexpected addition of characters in the production.
The director and choreographer of the project was Honored Artist of Russia Egor Druzhinin. Together with Alena, they carefully watched the general developments from behind the scenes. “But we still have a fashion show as planned!” – he said enthusiastically at the end of the rehearsal. By the way, one of the first guests to arrive was actor Daniil Kiselev, whom the audience knows best from the TV series “Difficult Teenagers”.
