Good news for horror and thriller fans. The iconic Final Destination series is back! The publication Bloody Disgusting reported that the new film will be subtitled “Blood Ties.”
Shooting starts this week. “After a long and difficult pandemic and strike period, the first day of shooting has finally arrived,” said producer Craig Perry. He reminded that next year will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the first part of the movie, loved by many. Perry believes it’s a “rare and wonderful opportunity” to mark the occasion with another worldwide theatrical release (in IMAX format).
The film will be directed by Zach Lipovsky (“The Risen Dead”) and Adam B. Stein (“Kim Possible”). It is still unknown who will play the main roles in “Final Destination 6” – the creators continue the intrigue.
Meanwhile, a few years ago, series creator Jeffrey Reddick said that the next installment of the film would be “a true end goal movie.” He added, however, that the tape will be filmed “from a different angle.”
