Shiver, Twilight fans! Lionsgate Vice President Michael Burns announced that an animated series based on the popular movie will be released. “I think there will be a lot of interest in this,” Burns said.
Meanwhile, there were reports this spring that work had begun on “Twilight” but there were no details. What is known so far is that Wyck Godfrey and Erik Feig will serve as executive producers. Feig is the former co-chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, and his Godfrey and Temple Hill production company produced five Vampire films.
Let us remind you that the series consists of five films released from 2008 to 2012. They collected more than three billion dollars at the global box office and brought mega popularity to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
