The other day, the fashion show of the new autumn-winter 2024 collection took place, where the brand presented an unusual variation of the iconic Swipe Bag model. And it is worth saying that it exceeded all our expectations. The accessory consists of 99% air and only 1% glass. Professor Ioannis Michaloudis took part in the creation of such a bag. The model is made of a nanomaterial called silica airgel, which is considered the lightest solid on Earth and is used by NASA to trap dust particles in space. The Air Swipe Bag weighs only 33 grams.

By the way, this bag is not as fragile as it seems. It is a very dense material that can withstand abnormal temperatures and pressures exceeding 4000 times its weight. And the Air Swipe Bag is the largest object ever created from silica airgel.
