The 30th SAG Awards 2024 took place this evening (by the way, we also wrote about the winners here). It was here that the actors of the movie “The Devil Wears Prada” reunited.
Meryl Streep took the stage to announce the winner of the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. However, she realized that she had forgotten her glasses and the envelope with the winner’s name written on it. Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway then hinted at their assistants’ roles in the film, giving the actor the missing pieces. Emily said, “Meryl and Miranda Priestly are kind of like twins,” but Streep disagreed with that statement and Anne said it wasn’t a question at all. Blunt also quotes Miranda, telling Meryl: “Sure, move at a glacial pace.”
Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt had previously reunited 17 years after the release of the movie “The Devil Wears Prada”. The actresses made an entertaining television appearance on Variety’s talk show “Actors on Actors,” where they discussed their latest projects.
