Perhaps the most unexpected news of the day. A man who had been living in a sewer for more than 10 years was rescued in Togliatti. And all this time his relatives thought he was dead.

52-year-old Alexander lived in the sewers for about 12 years. Finding the man, Tolyatti residents contacted blogger Anton Gletcherov, who helps those in need. During his interview with him, Alexander said that he had been traveling to different parts of the country since 1995. He couldn’t find a job because he was “fired” and lost his own home after his parents’ death.
Two hours after the video was published, the man’s relatives started coming from different cities of the country. But no one came to Alexander in two days, and therefore Gletcherov wants to help the man restore his documents and place him in a shelter. But the homeless man himself claims that he is ready to work and pay for housing himself.
According to Shot, Alexander’s wife left him 15 years ago. He then left the house and disappeared. Relatives tried to find him, but after several unsuccessful attempts they began to think he was dead.
