Blood of My Blood, the Outlander spin-off, turns out terribly

If we try to keep calm since the announcement of the creation of the prequel to the most Scottish series of the Loch Ness Monster, we start to hyperventilate a little, with the casting announcement.

Ok, let’s take a deep breath and recontextualize a bit. We already told you about the series, a year and a half ago foreigner will give birth to her little sister in a whole new series.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood (this is his nickname) should focus on the history of Jamie Fraser’s parents, Helen and Brian, in the Highlands of the early 18th century, but also on that of Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, in England during the First World War.

The main cast has been revealed

If we don’t yet have an airing date, the Starz channel, which already hosts Outlander and will take care of the production of the prequel, has announced the names of those who will join this new casting. Ellen MacKenzie, Jamie’s mother, will be played by Harriet Slater (Pennyworth). Brian Fraser (the father of the kilt professional) will be played by Jamie Roy (The Condor’s Nest). Julia Moriston, Claire’s mother, will be played by Hermione Corfield (Let’s hunt together). Finally, Henry Beauchamp, the father, will be played by Jeremy Irvine (Oh mama! Here we go again).

Writing has begun on a ten-episode first season, and we’re beyond excited to return to the landscapes of Scotland where the series will be filmed.
