Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis from The Scott Brothers) would be up for a reboot

The actress would be less and less categorically against a reboot of the series that made her famous in the 2000s.

This is information to be taken with a pinch of salt, but it already gives us a bit of a hard time. Sophie Bush, the brilliant Brooke Davis in the series A tree hill (The Scott Brothers in French), recently spoke about the possibility of a reboot of the American series, during a media interview AND!.

A possible return of the Scott brothers?

Indeed, Sophia Bush, who in recent years had opposed a casting reform for a return to Tree Hill, may have changed her mind:

Everyone wants to know. I think for a long time our answer was an emphatic “no.” We were really ready to reject this idea. (…) Inever say never. (…) I don’t have an answer for you, but things change over time.

The actress had already shared moments of nostalgia with her two former co-stars, Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer) and Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley James Scott) in a podcast simply titled “Drama Queens.” In the latter’s episodes, the trio recalled moments from filming, shared anecdotes, experiences, secrets and memories, to the delight of their fans.

But Sophia Bush, interviewed in another podcast called Inside you he had also revealed the disgusting atmosphere that reigned on the set and had denounced the actions and harassment of the series creator Mark Schwahn:

He was very open. I think the worst thing about what he did was hidden. He was not ashamed of being tactile, of making inappropriate comments, of dragging people into small rooms to have conversations… (…) We learned from a screenwriter that he kept a table with test photos of every girl in her underwear. Photos of us taken by the costume designer, who was a woman, in different versions of underwear and/or lingerie which we then had to validate and choose.

The idea of a possible reboot for Chad Michael Murray, interpreter of Luke Scottit’s not even unthinkable, as he also confided E!News :

I can’t imagine a world where this doesn’t happen. Something will happen. Whether we get everyone together to read the dialogue from the show live, or we create a new episode, I don’t know what it will be.

Wait and see, as the saying goes. But a little return to Tree Hill wouldn’t be unpleasant, all under decent shooting conditions, of course. In the meantime, the entire series is available on Amazon Prime Video.
